¿Mark Zuckerberg buscará la presidencia de EE. UU.?

Mark Zuckerberg no planea optar a la presidencia de Estados Unidos en 2020, dijo una familia de Ohio que invitó a cenar al CEO de Facebook a su casa. 

Zuckerberg cenó el pasado viernes en la vivienda de los Moore, en Newton Falls, como parte de su misión por visitar los 50 estados de ese país. Esta iniciativa alimentó los rumores sobre sus aspiraciones políticas tanto en redes sociales como en el programa de televisión Today.

Los integrantes de la familia Moore son demócratas que en las últimas presidenciales votaron por el republicano Donald Trump. Hablaron con Zuckerberg sobre el declive de la industria y los retos que afronta su ciudad, explicaron.

El director ejecutivo de Facebook dijo a Buzzfeed en enero que no tenía planes para presentarse a presidente cuando anunció el viaje. Su intención era saber más sobre las distintas comunidades estadounidenses que emplean la red social que fundó, señaló un representante.

Zuckerberg visitó una granja de Wisconsin el domingo último y publicó fotos en las que aparece conduciendo un tractor, alimentado a un ternero y conviviendo durante una con una familia local.

Acercamiento

El fundador de Facebook ha compartido en su perfil en esa plataforma cada momento de su gira, también con la finalidad de que sean sus seguidores quienes le propongan qué lugares visitar.

  • El 29 de abril hizo una parada en la ciudad de Dayton, al sureste de Ohio, con personas que se han recuperado de la adicción a la sustancia de opioide, que según Mark, ha cobrado más vidas que el propio Sida:


En su última publicación de abril, el sábado 30 para ser más precisos, degustó un pan en el restaurante State Street Brats, una recomendación de los usuarios en Facebook. 

Otro de los propósitos de Zuckerberg es observar cómo el lema de Trump “América grande de nuevo” cobra vida o no en cada lugar que Mark tenga contacto.
Durante su vista en Indiana, conversó con Mepte Buttigieg,  el alcalde loca de South Bend, uno de los estadounidenses más jóvenes en tener ese cargo.
